Themed Fundamentals Workshop

Are you as excited as we are for Halloween? Design and create your own spooky themed personal mosaic to take home. Participants will make a mosaic using ALMA’s handmade tile stock collection and themed tiles. You will also learn how to install and grout a personal mosaic to take home with you.

Come solo, make it a friend outing or a great date idea.

No experience necessary, ages 12+.

Workshops are led by our skilled apprentices. Be ready for some messy fun!

ALMA is an Albuquerque local nonprofit arts organization that provides and creates opportunities for young artists through paid apprenticeships. Collaboratively they create public art mosaic murals constructed with tiles that are handmade and carved by their artists. Some of their work can be seen on the Albuquerque Convention Center, the entrance into Albuquerque’s Old Town, and other sites around the city. Please visit almatile.org to learn more about ALMA.
